Pig & Pearl: Preservation on the Halfshell
Overview
On Friday, February 27, gather at Goodwood Museum & Gardens for an evening that feels as old and true as the land itself. Hosted with presenting sponsor Prime Meridian Bank, this special night celebrates good food, good music, and the enduring traditions that tie us together.
Enjoy a Southern supper built on time-honored flavors: roasted pork, fresh oysters (fried and on the half shell) salmon, and classic sides prepared with care and pride. A signature cocktail, crafted exclusively for the evening and poured by local celebrity bartenders, adds a festive toast to the night.
Providing the soundtrack is The Apalachicola Sound, bringing rock-tinged country and Southern storytelling inspired by the working waterfronts of Apalachicola Bay. With songs born on the docks and shaped by a love of land and water, their fiddle, harmonica, electric guitar, and vocals deliver a soulful swamp-rock sound that feels both timeless and alive.
As music drifts across the Carriage House and grounds, guests will be welcomed with true Southern hospitality and a shared commitment to preservation.
Join us for Pig & Pearl: Preservation on the Halfshell, where history, community, and celebration come together under the stars. Proceeds from the evening support Goodwood Museum & Gardens and its mission to preserve and share Tallahassee’s story for generations still to come.
Be part of a night rooted in tradition, shaped by the land, and carried forward by the people who cherish it.
