Join us for an afternoon on the farm where you'll assemble your own live, potted plant. Each guest will receive their own pair of garden gloves (to keep), a plant of their choosing, a pot or container of their choosing, soil, tools, and embellishments. Instructions and demonstrations will be provided. Light refreshments will be provided.

Following our potting workshop, guests will be allowed to tour the farm and visit with all of the animals at their leisure. This will be held rain or shine so dress for the weather. If it is raining we will either be inside the barn or under a tent. PLEASE NOTE: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of plants are there?

We offer a variety of starter plants including: spider, curly spider, pothos, arrow plant, purple queen, begonia, philodendron, Christmas cactus, Easter (Spring) cactus, Thanksgiving cactus, and more!

Are the plants easy to care for?

Yes! The plants we offer are very easy to care for, hardy (indoors), and easily thrive. They do not require any special care.

Is it all just basic flower pots to choose from?

No! We have a variety of unique containers and flower pots to choose from. Farmer Shel scours estate sales, thrift stores, and auctions for containers to plant in! You can be as basic or creative as you'd like.

What do we get for the price we pay?

You'll take home your live plant that you've chosen in the container you chose (with any embellishments you may choose) your garden gloves, and wonderful memories. Your ticket also includes interaction with the farm animals if you so choose. Light refreshments will also be offered.

Do I need to bring anything?

You may wish to bring an umbrella in case of inclement weather. There will be a bit of a walk from parking to the barn or tent. And wear clothes that you dont mind gettting dirty.

Is there parking?

There is no formal parking lot as this is our private residence. Plenty of street parking is available which is free.
