In partnership with local poet Julia Poet, we're bringing back a crowd favorite-- an afternoon of poetry!

Have you ever read a poem so deft or so juicy that you just had to share it?

It's an open mic to shine a light on our favorite poets! Pick your favorite poem and read it aloud. (If you're shy, but still want to champion your poem, bring it anyway! We'll read it for you.)

So bring a verse that's tried and true and join us for this spoken word event!

Meet fellow dabblers of verse, students of rhyme, curious readers, and poetry buffs.

The only rule? It has to be a poem written by someone else. (Though if your friend has only ever ready your poetry, you should encourage them to come, too!)
