I have never touched a piano or learned music in my whole life. Can I follow through the lesson?

Absolutely! Our Piano Zumba sessions are open to all levels, including complete beginners. In fact, you'll start learning music theory, how to play correctly and how to read notes too!

I have a small keyboard, is this sufficient enough for your class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, even a keyboard with 41 keys is sufficient! While a larger keyboard or piano might offer more flexibility, you’ll still be able to learn and follow along with the lesson on a smaller keyboard. If you have an even smaller one, no worries—just make sure you can play the basic chords.

Can I join your lesson with my video turned off?

Yes, you can join with your video turned off if you prefer.

Will I have to turn on my microphone?

Accepted Answer

Mics will be muted throughout the lesson, except during introductions, Q&A, or if you encounter any issues. This is to ensure that you can hear the instructor clearly without feedback or delays. However, you’ll have the option to unmute yourself for the Solo Spotlight at the end of the class.

How does the Solo Spotlight go if I want to play for the entire class?

Accepted Answer

For the Solo Spotlight, you’ll get the chance to perform at the end of the session. Make sure you have the MP3 file ready to play from your end, and ensure both the music and your piano can be heard clearly. Please do a technical check before your performance to avoid any issues!
