Instructor: Eleah Peal

In a progression of milling & seething exercises, students will learn head to toe performance skills and concepts that assist in demonstrating information about a character, their objectives, and their relationships before they even speak. Utilizing inside-out approaches of performance in combination (Stanislavsky, Alexander & Linklater techniques) this workshop will empower actors to bring character development into realized physicalized movement that can translate in performance.

Eleah Jayne Peal is theatre education artist based in the capital region of NY. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia’s BFA program, she has trained with the Moscow Art Theatre, Shakespeare & Co., & extensively with the Society of American Fight Directors in areas of contemporary & classical styles of acting, movement, dance and fight choreography. An adjunct professor at Russell Sage College, Eleah currently works with local theaters and education groups as an actor, director, choreographer, and theatre educator.
