I don't think I will be able to contribute to PHPUnit, but I'm interested in learning. Can I come?

Absolutely! But rest assured that everyone will be able to contribute something meaningful. It's not just about writing code, but about any kind of support for the project, like reproducing and assessing bug reports or improving documentation.

Question 2

I do not live in Hamburg. Are travel and accommodation costs covered?

Accepted Answer

As a community-driven event, it is unfortunately not possible to cover any costs. However, Drinks, Lunch and working materials are provided by the location host.

Question 3

Do you have recommendations for hotels / hostels?

Accepted Answer

Motel One has two hotels very close to our location: "Fleetinsel" and "Am Michel".

If you are looking for a hostel, check out Superbude (https://www.superbude.com/en/hotel-hamburg/), they have three locations in Hamburg and it's just a short trip to our location from each of those.

Question 4

Are there parking spots at the location?

Accepted Answer

We discourage coming by car, as the location is very central and can be reached by S- and U-Bahn as well as by bus.

If you have no other way to reach us than by car, please get in touch early and we will check if we can offer a parking spot.
