About the event
Pursuing a research career can be fulfilling, but it often comes with isolation, pressure, and uncertainty. That’s exactly why we designed the PhD Breakfast Series — a twice-a-month gathering that brings together doctoral researchers from diverse fields to connect, reflect, and grow — over a shared breakfast table.
☕ What to expect at all our sessions:
- 🫂 A safe and friendly space to talk about real challenges
- 🌍 Cross-disciplinary conversations and idea exchange
- 🧠 Strengthening of transferable skills like storytelling and communication
- 🤝 Formation of a meaningful peer-to-peer support network
- 🧑🏫 Expert access on demand — connect with invited mentors to discuss specialised issues
- 🥐 Healthy breakfast included — along with unlimited water, tea, and coffee
