About this event

The Pesticide Projector is the web version of the Pesticide Decision Support Tool. It was developed to help users select pesticide active ingredients that pose potentially lower risks to aquatic environments.

Designed for anyone involved in making pesticide decisions - including farmers, resellers, extension officers, councils and agronomists, the tool evaluates both the toxicity of active ingredients to aquatic organisms and their potential to move from land to waterways and persist in the environment.

This is just one factor you should consider when selecting pesticides. The tool should be used alongside advice from your resellers, extension officers, or agronomists.

The Pesticide Projector includes an extensive range of chemicals used in the sugarcane and banana industry, covering 126 active ingredients. It is flexible and customisabl e, allowing users to tailor inputs such as application rates, tank mixes. and spray regimes to suit their specific needs.

This event includes morning tea and lunch
