Join local artist David Alexander on Saturday, November 8 starting at 12pm at Reston ReMakery for a focused 3-hour hands-on papermaking workshop open to creatives of all ages presented by Tephra ICA.

Inspired by the textures and flows of artist Hong Hong’s work 河/River within the A Land and 河/River exhibition, participants will first engage with the artist’s themes of flow, material, and transformation, then translate those ideas into their own unique sheets of hand made paper using fiber, inclusions, and pigment.

All levels of experience are welcome—bring your curiosity.

After the initial making session, enjoy complimentary coffee and refreshments and gather for group reflection and a tabletop showcase where participants share material choices, conceptual decisions, and impressions.

Please note, this workshop will be located at Reston Remakery.
