Personal and Operational Resilience as a Force-Multiplier for Military and Civilian Operations
In-person and virtual event. 25 in-person seats available on a first-come first-served basis.

Resilience is about people as well as operations and physical assets! This presentation provides a perspective on resilience and the workplace that has not been widely explored: that personal resilience is key to operational success in today’s military workplace. Further, personal resilience integrated with operational resilience is a force-multiplier for military operations in today’s increasingly severe disruptions caused by human actions, severe weather, or international supply chain disruptions.

The presentation will describe how the US Air Force “5 Rs” of Resilience: Robustness, Redundancy, Resourcefulness, Response and Recovery apply to and are key to the success of personnel in the workplace as well as to military and civilian operations. The presenters will give their individual perspectives on personal and operational resilience from their first-hand experience with practical resilience solutions developed from working at military and civilian agencies and installations.
