Learn more about PERIOD Miami's work while packing period packs for our Miami-Dade community and public schools. Refreshments will be available! We will also have activities for the kids - ALL AGES, GENDERS, AND GENERATIONS ARE WELCOMED TO ATTEND!
WE WILL ALSO BE GIVING AWAY FREE PERIOD UNDERWEAR AND PADS TO MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS, PLEASE REGISTER UNDER THE CORRECT TICKET STUDENT/PARENT TO RECIEVE ITEMS.
MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC SCHOOL STAFF CAN ALSO COLLECT DONATIONS FOR THEIR SCHOOL BY REGISTERING UNDER A TEACHER/SCHOOL TICKET AND COMPLETING THE FORM BELOW:
Miami-Dade public school staff will need to complete this form prior to pickup on Saturday!

About PERIOD. Miami Office
PERIOD. works to eradicate period poverty and period stigma through service, education and advocacy. We equip and train youth leaders with the resources and training they need to end period poverty in their lifetime.
PERIOD Miami is a unique brach of PERIOD., Inc that started as a community chapter. Since being founded in 2018, PERIOD Miami helped build a network community organizers, policymakers, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and period product brands all pushing for menstrual equity in schools and shelters. PERIOD.'s input and presence in Miami is critical to continue the work and leverage the progress we have made already with our community partners. We have produly donated over 1.2 millions period products in Miami-Dade county!
Because period poverty is an intersectional issue, we will continue to intentionally get community feedback in how we tackle race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and disabilities in our work so we can build solutions for all people. Centering those most affected by period poverty is one of our highest values.

In honor of Period Action Day, PERIOD. is calling on the global menstrual movement to collectively donate ONE MILLION period products to communities in need.
Globally, 500 million people across the globe lack access to menstrual products and bathroom facilities during their menstrual cycles.
