Performance Lab: Wednesdays - February 4th - March 11th
Overview
Storytelling Performance Lab
Ready to take your stories from page to stage? The Storytelling Performance Lab is a hands-on, six-week workshop designed for storytellers who have completed Storytelling 101, Foundations, or other introductory course. This accelerated program focuses on identifying, developing, refining, and performing one story, culminating in a public showcase.
Participants arrive with three story ideas and, over six classes, will:
- Quickly review storytelling fundamentals
- Explore your story ideas and select the one story you want to perform
- Build a compelling narrative with strong structure, tension, and emotional impact
- Refine and polish your story with coach and peer support
- Develop and practice your performance to command the stage
- Rehearse and receive feedback in a supportive, collaborative environment
- Present their story in a final public showcase
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your storytelling craft, prepare for live performance, or share your story with an audience, the Performance Lab provides the tools, guidance, and stage to bring your story to life.
