Join us on November 5, from 4:30 - 7:30 pm for a two-part event, featuring a performance by Lance Weiler in RLWindow, followed by a conversation featuring curator Regina Harsanyi and artist Lance Weiler at RYAN LEE Gallery.
Lance Weiler is a storyteller, emerging media artist, filmmaker, and thought leader.
Regina Harsanyi is Associate Curator of Media Arts at Museum of the Moving Image.
Where There’s Smoke, an interactive time-based media installation by artist and filmmaker Lance Weiler, is currently on view in RLWindow. The exhibition will feature a live performance by Weiler from 4:30 - 6:30 pm which will be visible from the High Line on W 26th Street. Like a DJ of physical and digital artifacts, he will create live collages on a surface, captured via an overhead camera and simultaneously displayed in the window.
Following Weiler's performance, we are excited to host a conversation between Regina Harsanyi and Weiler from 6:45 - 7:30 pm.
Please note that the 26th Street High Line stairs are currently closed for reconstruction. Stairs are available at 28th Street and 23rd Street.
