This fall, Santa Barbara’s Postpartum Education for Parents (SB PEP) is thrilled to welcome the Santa Barbara community to the 12th annual Touch-A-Truck. Join us on Sunday, September 7th, 2025 for a day of horns, honks, and heaps of fun! At PEP’s Touch-A-Truck, kids have the opportunity to see, touch, learn about, and safely explore trucks, construction equipment, and public safety vehicles. Additional activities include entertainment by Bubble Guy, face painting, and yummy treats!

TAT is a completely free event to the community but we welcome donations to support PEP's operations to enable us to continue to serve the community. In 2024, SB PEP was hosted over 80 baby basics classes, welcomed 413 families through our New Parent Groups, and  conducted over 120 postpartum outreach calls. You can donate via PayPal or Venmo.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to purchase tickets ahead of time?

No, you can walk in on the day of. But reserving tickets does help us get a sense of the crowds to expect.

Is Touch A Truck free?

Yes! Admissions is free to the public to ensure the community event is accessible to the entire community. There's no cost to interact with the trucks and vehicles but there is a cost for food & beverages and things like face painting.
