Marshall Ganz, PhD, is Senior Lecturer in Leadership, Organizing, and Civil Society at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.

Ganz is one of the world's leading authorities on community organizing:

  • Leader of 2008 Obama presidential campaign
  • Organizer of California farmworkers with Caesar Chavez

His lecture will outline how ordinary people can work together to turn the resources they have into the power they need to achieve real social, political, and institutional change.

Dr. Ganz will present virtually, but his lecture will be livestreamed into the Harper Center auditorium for attendees to hear while gathered together in person - there will be no distributed livestream link.
