Join internationally renowned pianist, teacher, and author Penelope Roskell for a practical and interactive piano workshop at Forsyths, exploring healthy, effortless technique from elementary to intermediate level.

This hands-on session is ideal for piano teachers and beginner to intermediate pianists who wish to develop strong technical foundations and play with greater ease. Penelope will share a wealth of musical, engaging ideas drawn from her new Essential Piano Technique books (Levels 2 and 3), offering clear strategies you can immediately apply in your teaching or practice.

Penelope Roskell is Professor of Piano and Pedagogy at Trinity Laban and Chair of EPTA UK. This event is presented in partnership with Forsyth Music Shop and EPTA UK (Manchester region), with support from Faber Music as part of their launch series. Penelope will also be teaching at Chetham’s Summer School the week prior.
