We plan to pack in experimentation and joy while exploring the lost art of this pendulum contraption. Having a whole day to create on canvas (provided), t-shirts or totebags (bring whatever you want to design on - thrift or new) and designing our own contraptions will allow us so much hands on knowledge alongside the thrill of learning. We will delve into a little of the science of this fascinating tool. We will travel to the North Market for a lunch excursion (brown bag or bring your funds to try a vendor there). Then we will finish out the day with more hypothesis, experimentation - yes failures and fun, fascination and foibles are all part of the learning process and we will embrace them with amazing results.

Lisa teaches the Pulping and Sculpting Series at Terra Art Gallery & Creative Studio. This includes Cardmaking, Joyful Journaling, Happy Little Houses, Happy Little Vessels, and Multi-Media Fiber. In addition, she teaches Pendulum Painting Plus and Acrylic Paint Pouring, which are not in the paper pulping and sculpting series.
