Core Control: A Pelvic Floor Workshop for Active Women

Come join us at MISSION YOGA for our Pelvic Floor Workshop! This in-person event will focus on exercises and techniques to strengthen and support your pelvic floor.

If you’re leaking during everyday tasks, struggling to stay dry during workouts, or preparing your body for birth or postpartum recovery—you’re not alone, and there is help.

Join Dr. Erika Fassler, PT, DPT from Revive Physiotherapy for a practical, supportive workshop designed to teach you how to relax and engage your pelvic floor the right way. Whether you’re pregnant, recently postpartum, or just want to move and live with more confidence, this session is for you.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to relax your pelvic floor to reduce tension and prepare for birth
  • A safe and effective bracing strategy for lifting, moving, and exercising

Dr. Erika Fassler

PT, DPT, COMT, CERT. DN

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pelvic Floor Specialist

Dr. Erika Fassler graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2019 and has been practicing as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for the past 6 years. Erika uses a holistic and root cause approach to patient care. She uses her clinical expertise of movement analysis to narrow down exactly where dysfunction is coming from. By combining dry needling, manual therapy, blood flow restriction, and targeted exercise Erika is able to create lasting solutions for her patients.

Over the past year, Erika has been dedicated to helping clients overcome dysfunction related to pelvic floor conditions. She recently completed her Level 1 Pelvic Floor Certification, equipping her to assist individuals dealing with issues such as prolapse and incontinence, particularly for those experiencing challenges during pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and among athletic Populations. Erika has honed her craft by receiving additional training and certifications in: Dry Needling, Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Orthopedic Connections to Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and Pelvic Cert Level 1.

Erika grew up as a competitive swimmer at the International Swimming Hall of Fame and currently competes as a masters swimmer. Her favorite forms of movement involve swimming, weight lifting, and Pilates. Erika empowers her patients through education, movement optimization, and a fitness forward approach to help them reach their goals!
