Peekskill is one of New York's best-kept secrets and one of the oldest societies in America, dating back to the 1600s. We are home to an artist community and a huge foodie culture. We want you to experience what makes Peekskill great, while exposing you to over 400+ years of US and NY history. You will learn about Peekskill's rich history through random, fun, and surprising facts! Your tour includes a combination of 15-20 indoor and outdoor stops. Participants will enjoy locally roasted coffee, pastries, and bottled water. All food and drinks are included in the tour price. This will be a 2.5 - 3.5 mile walk with minimal seating and uneven, ascending, and descending streets and runs about 2-2.5 hours. Please remember the tour is rain or shine and non-refundable. The tour will begin at The Central Cafe and Bar at Peekskill Train Station, so please do not be tempted to buy coffee before the tour. Come with comfy shoes, be ready to mingle, and we'll do the rest!
