BARREL PICKS: This year, we will be adding a couple of extra surprises into the mix. As a Peat or No Peat attendee, you will have the first chance to taste through each of our Jack's Bottle Shop Private Barrels that we have selected for this year's event. After building a solid relationship with our friend Joshua Hatton and Single Cask Nation last year, we were able to dive into his collection of barrels, and we can't wait to share what we picked with you! For the second barrel, we are excited to welcome our Brooklyn friends and Kings County Distillery to the show. After delivering what we have heard to be the barrel pick of the year last year, we are beyond excited to reveal our next project with KCD. Each of these barrels will be extremely limited and up for purchase to those who are attending this year's Peat or No Peat event before bottles go public the following week!
This event is intended to be intimate and educational as we shine a light on some of the more macro-sized distilleries from Scotland and other makers from around the world. We will have the honor of being joined by many different representatives from each brand of Whisky. With 30+ different whiskies on display, we are excited for you to take your palate in a direction like never before

Peat or No Peat is a 'Gather, Sip, and Chow' at your own leisure-style event.
Fantastic bites will be offered by the always wonderful Latitude 44, and this event will be held on the second floor in the Castle Event Space / Pereira's Wine and Whiskey Lounge.
For a special add-on price ($25), enjoy a one hour VIP Master Class before the event. You will have the opportunity to meet Michael Swanson of Far North Spirits and learn about the story of his inovative farming practices, distilling techniques and what makes his brand Far North Spirits so special. You will be tasting through SIX amazing expressions of single varietal rye whiskey and learn how Michael is helping shape the industry for a better understanding in the catagory of rye whiskey and why its important to know where the rye is being sourced.
