Pearl and Bead Knotting with Jenny Lin

3-Hour Workshop

Date: Tuesday, December 18th

Time: 6pm-9pm

Description: Learn the basics of hand knotting. Knots placed in between pearls or gemstones not only accentuate their natural beauty, they also protect them from damage and loss. Students will choose from a selection of cultured pearls or semiprecious gemstone beads and leave with a finished knotted necklace with either a silver or gold plated clasp. Knot a strand for yourself or make a gift for a friend!

Note that optical aids can be helpful, so feel free to bring your preferred magnification tool if you have one.

Tuition: $65 + $25 materials fee

(Note: Materials fee covers the cost of a silver clasp and basic beads/pearls. If students want to upgrade to a gold clasp and/or fancier beads, they will have the opotrunity to pay the materials price difference to the instructor directly.

We really want you to join us in the studio! Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to offset some of the financial burden of attending a class. Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.

Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
