Frequently asked questions

What do registration fees go towards?

Pearadox is a self-funded High School robotics team - the team must raise funds through camps, applying for grants, and requesting company sponsorships. These camps are critical to be able to pay for competition registration and components for building a world-class robot!

What kind of activities will be done?

All of our activities will focus on giving hands on experience in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. There will be a focus on using the LEGO Spike Prime kits to complete engineering challenges for FLL Camp, and FTC level robot kits for jr high level camp.

Where do we drop off/pick up our student?

Please enter through door A9 at Turner High school. Door A9 is approximately halfway between the main doors for Turner and Jr High South. Look for Pearadox flag or banner! All students will be signed out at end of the day.

What age range are you targeting?

Our June 9-11 camp is targeting incoming 4th to 7th graders. Our July 15-17 camp will target 4th to 6th graders, and July 22-24 will target 7th to 8th graders

Will you do refunds?

We will handle refunds on a case by case basis. Please reach out with questions or concerns

I have two students aged in different camp groups. Which should I do?

We recommend selecting one based more on their prior experience. Our 1st STEM camp will focus on simpler challenges, while the FLL CAMP will focus more on FLL Lego Robotics level. The FTC camp will focus on more complex FTC level robot building suited for Jr. High students.

What are the times for each day

Each day sign in starts at 8 AM, and sign out is at 4 PM. Each child will be signed out by adult listed in the registration that has permission to pick up the student
