PCC: Concurrent Enrollment Orientation - Friday PM
We encourage all new Concurrent Enrollment students to attend an orientation prior to starting classes at PCC. Concurrent Enrollment Orientation will inform you of what resources are available to you, teach you how to use the technology in the classroom, and show you around campus so you feel confident when your classes begin! Students who attend an orientation in person are more likely to succeed in college, so sign up today! Please feel free to bring your family!
CHECK-IN STARTS AT 3:00 PM in the Welcome Lobby in the Student Center building. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
Student IDs and parking permits: Plan on arriving a little early so you can get your student ID and parking permit after you check in. Find out about discounts and benefits you get with a PCC student ID on our PCC Perks page!
Frequently asked questions
The purpose of the orientation is to get students acclimated to the campus and familiar with PCC operations. It allows students to connect with other students and CE families, learn about available resources on campus, find out about academic expectations, and ask questions.
Attendance at CE New Student Orientation is optional, but it is a good idea to attend because orientation may make you feel more comfortable at PCC.
The Friday session runs from 4 pm to 6 pm. Check in as early as 3 pm and visit our Welcome Desk to get your student ID and parking pass. An information/QA session will be held 4 - 5 pm and and optional tour offered at 5 pm.
Parents and other supporters are encouraged to attend orientation alongside their student; however, it is not required. Just register the students and provide the number of guests that will attend with the student.
Contact the PCC Concurrent Enrollment department at CE@pueblocc.edu or (719) 549-3388.
