About this event

Join Eli Arnow, PCA's Forest Health Task Force chair, as we explore a rare healthy forest understory along the Berkshire-Taconic Ridge. The walk includes a 30-45 minute moderate climb up a well-established trail to a section of the Alander Mountain trail system, which includes a beautiful section of healthy forest and intact rich understory with plenty of forest songbirds. The 2.5 mile out-and-back hike should take about two hours and includes a ~500 ft. elevation change.
