A Day in the Heart of the Revolution

Lehigh Valley Public Media is hitting the road to Philadelphia for an unforgettable day of history, storytelling, and community connection. Together with our PA PBS partner station WHYY, we invite our members and history lovers to join us for a one-of-a-kind screening event.

Be among the first to experience a special preview of Ken Burns’ highly anticipated new documentary series, The American Revolution—followed by an intimate, on-stage conversation with Ken Burns led by none other than Terry Gross, co-host of WHYY’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross and Tonya Mosley.

The American Revolution was at once a war for independence, a civil war, and a world war. It impacted millions – from Canada to the Caribbean and beyond. Few escaped its violence.

Premiering in November 2025, The American Revoluition examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down.

Thirteen British colonies on the Atlantic Coast rose in rebellion, won their independence, and established a new form of government that radically reshaped the continent and inspired centuries of democratic movements around the globe.
