PAUSE - meditative movement ~ fill your cup

Step into a one-of-a-kind loft (above The Ship) — part working brass instrument studio, part art gallery, and now, the home of PAUSE. This airy, art-soaked space belongs to renowned trumpeter and brass creator Mike Corrigan, whose work and energy infuse the space with a creative hum. Surrounding us is the Willie Cole Saxophone Bird installation, the same visionary art featured at the new Kansas City airport — a living reminder that transformation and sound are intertwined.
This month’s PAUSE: Meditative Movement invites you to “Fill Your Cup.”
A slow, intentional flow that weaves together breath, balance, and embodied choice — because knowing when to receive is its own art. Throughout the evening, participants can use their “Beckon Billet” cards to quietly signal when they’re ready for a wine refill (up to two pours included).
Come move, sip, and settle into a rhythm that celebrates deliberate movement and deliberate indulgence — filling your physical, emotional, and literal cup.
Future sessions include “Warm Down and Light Up,” a guided “smoga” (cannabis yoga) session featuring a brass warm-down — but for now, we start with this:
a pause, a pour, a breath.
