The completion consists of 12 different events focusing on speed, strength, and skill. Points will be awarded to first, second, and third place in each event. The participant who squires the most points throughout the competition will be crowned king of Paulapalooza. Lunch will be served during the competition, and dinner at the end with the announcement of the winner.

Much of the fun of Paulapalooza comes from camping and eating together in the woods. Staying overnight Friday or Saturday is optional, and people are welcome to come just for the day. You will miss out on some of the fun, and campers start the competition with an additional three points.

We are happy to announce the return of the woman’s devision! It continues to be tons of fun with so many competitors in this class. It has been fun to see it grow. The woman will compete along side, the men, but their scores will be counted separately. The winner will claim the title of Shield Maiden, and win the shield and spear!
