About this event

It's fun to make your own clothes and it's even better when they fit you well.

In this class you will learn how to fit a commercial sewing pattern of your choosing. We will get into body measurements and pattern adjustments. You will get to try out tools and techniques that help make your project successful. We will show you how easy it is to transfer your paper pattern onto pattern material that you can sew just like fabric. This takes the stress out of the fitting process and you will know everything looks good before you cut into your fabric.

If you have not started your project yet, you should take this class!

If you have started your project and want to get the fit just right, you should take this class!

Patterns

If you are using a printable PDF pattern, you should purchase, download, and print out all pages of your pattern before class. It’s easy to print out your pattern at home and tape the pages together. If you want to have your pattern printed on 36” x 48” paper (copy shop or A0 printer), PDF Plotting is a great choice. FedEx Office and Staples can also print this format.

I f you are using a traditional pattern, please bring all pages of the pattern, including the envelope.
