Patient Data Partnerships: Building Trust, Co-Creating Stories

This interactive online session will address the challenge of communicating complex statistical concepts to a lay audience. Using their experience in developing accessible tools, such as data animations, Prof Laura Gray and Hannah Worboys will demonstrate how to translate data into a compelling, human-centred narrative.

The session will show how patient partners can help researchers give a voice to the data. By working with individuals who have lived experience of the healthcare system, participants will learn how to ask better questions, understand the real-world implications of their results, and communicate findings in ways that resonate with policymakers and the public alike.
