The Dardanelle Regional Medical Center's Substance Abuse Disorder program will host a Pathways to Prevention Workshop for community and local healthcare providers on Wednesday, October 29. The program will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Westside Church of Christ in Russellville and will include presenters from throughout the state addressing various aspects of managing substance use disorder healthcare, including administering NARCAN and medicine assisted treatment and prevention. Russellville Mayor Fred Teague will begin the seminar at 10:00 am. Police and Fire Department leaders will also participate.

- Paul Dumas, peer to peer support specialist with Dardanelle Regional's Intensive Outpatient Program, "Redefining Substance Use Prevention Through Hospital Based Support."
- Christy Hall, River Valley Medical and Wellness, Naloxone training along with "Naloxone to take home to save a life."
