Art & Music Creative Workshop
Experience Art. Connect Through Music. Create Together.
Join us for a unique 2-hour evening workshop designed for creatives of all ages and skill levels, set in a cozy private space at St. Bernard's Hotel. With only 20 spots available per session, this intimate and inspiring event brings together art, music, and community.
Susan Lhamo
Susan Lhamo is a Tamborine Mountain-based artist living and working on Wangerriburra Country. Her practice centres on highly colourised abstract paintings that explore the emotional resonance of colour, form, and symbolic mark-making. Using landscape as a metaphor, her intuitive process reveals subconscious narratives, offering glimpses into the psyche through layered compositions.
In her workshop, Susan will encourage participants to draw on memories of a place—or places—of personal significance, and consider how to express those memories using colour, form, and mark-making.
Live Music Atmosphere
Relax and create to the sound of live music performed by Ludek Nemecek – a local guitarist and composer. His music adds a calming, joyful backdrop to the evening’s creative flow.
Everything Provided
We supply all materials—canvas, paper, paints, brushes, pencils, and more. No need to bring anything—just show up ready to create! (It’s an art workshop and can get messy, so please consider wearing suitable clothing.)
Make It a Night Out
Come early and enjoy St. Bernard's delicious $21 steak and free drinks from 6 PM before the workshop begins. There will also be a short refreshment break mid-session so you can recharge and mingle.
