Discover Long Island's State Parks in our returning monthly hiking series through every park on the Island! Each park will feature challenging and accessible hikes each month! Hikes for the month of August take place at Caleb Smith State Park Preserve. This hike will be more accessible and less challenging.
New participants will receive a passport booklet. Earn a sticker at each state park's passport hike. Present 5 stickers for a free hat, and earn 10 stickers to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win FREE admission to our 2026 Environmental Education programs!
(One sticker to be earned at each state park)
$4 cash per person upon arrival. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early.
