Discover Long Island's State Parks in a monthly hiking series through every park on the island!

Discover Long Island's State Parks in our returning monthly hiking series through every park on the Island! Each park will feature challenging and accessible hikes each month! Hikes for the month of November take place at Orient Beach State Park. This hike will be easier.

New participants will receive a passport booklet. Earn a sticker at each state park's passport hike. Present 5 stickers for a free hat, and earn 10 stickers to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win FREE admission to our 2026 Environmental Education programs!

(One sticker to be earned at each state park)

$ 4 per person upon arrival, No parking fee in effect. Space is limited, and reservations are required! Please make sure every child and adult in your party has a registered ticket. If you can no longer keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early. We will meet in the parking lot near the restrooms

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
