Passive House 101 & Networking
Date & Time: Wednesday, August 13th. Join us for happy hour starting at 5:30pm on one of Madison’s best roof top decks before the presentation. Presentation starts at 6pm.
About this event:Curious about Passive House/ Building? Come Learn More! Whether you’ve heard the term from a friend or colleague or just want to understand what it's all about, this is a great opportunity to get the basics. We’ll cover what Passive House/ Building is, why it matters, and how it’s being applied—from single-family homes to multifamily buildings.
Already familiar? Bring a friend who’s new to it! We’ll have snacks, drinks, and time to chat. Come learn, connect, and have some fun!

Registration is required and closes on August 11, 2025.
Parking: Paid parking is available in the South Livingston Parking Garage attached to the Arts + Literature Lab building. 111 S Livingston St, Madison, WI 53703. Free street parking is generally available nearby.
Building Access: Entrance Access to the building is from 5:15 PM-6:00PM, enter the building through the breezeway / main entrance (it’s on the SW side across the courtyard from Vintage Restaurant). Registering here gets you on our guest list, please bring a photo ID for possible front door confirmation with security. Please arrive before 6:00pm to enter the building.
Once inside, take the elevators to the Third Floor. Turn Left and go to the end of the hallway into the Café. We will see you there! Space hosted by Gould Energy Consulting Group in collaboration with StartingBlock.
