Nestor Vargas

Nestor Vargas is a Colombian-born DJ now based in Australia, known for bringing a smooth, open-minded approach to house music. He doesn’t treat genres as rules—house, deep, tech and afro-house simply become the colours he paints with, creating sets that feel alive and connected to the room.

He grew up in Bogotá’s vibrant nightlife, playing at spots like The End, Radio Berlín and Octava, before moving to Australia eight years ago. Since then, his feel for the crowd and clean mixing style have earned him residencies at Soko Rooftop and Lina Rooftop, two of Brisbane’s key rooftops.

People often describe Nestor as calm, disciplined and dependable behind the decks—someone who takes the craft seriously and always puts the dancefloor first. In recent years, he’s shared the stage with artists like Franky Rizardo, Marco Lys and Paco Osuna, continuing to grow his sound and presence across Australia.
