Party with a Purpose!

In what will be our Inaugural Party with a Purpose, Haute Affairs is partnering with Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas ("VOACC") to proactively bring awareness of the food security needs in our underserved communities in an environment that will celebrate life and our dedication to serve.

VOACC is a faith-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire self-reliance, dignity, and hope through housing, health and human services. VOACC has been helping to create Healthy Communities for All for over 129 years by aligning housing, health and human services. They actively pursue health equity by filling the gap in housing and care for underserved populations, including those who are experiencing homelessness, low-income, underinsured or uninsured, justice-involved and veterans. By offering integrated housing and care, VOACC address the social determinants that impact the long-term stability for those in need.

Support Families in Need: Help Us Provide Grocery Gift Cards

Due to recent funding cuts, many of the families that VOACC serve are struggling to access basic necessities. Groceries—something so many of us rely on without a second thought—have become an urgent need for our community members.

We are reaching out to our neighbors, friends, and partners to help bridge the gap. By donating grocery gift cards, you can directly support households facing food insecurity and make an immediate, meaningful impact. Every dollar helps ensure that families can put nutritious meals on the table during this difficult time.

THE ASK:

Admittance to this event is a gift card from a local grocery store with a $25 minimum spend. Please include the register receipt confirmation to ensure the recipients will be able to use without any issues.

Citizens & Culture, conveniently located in downtown Silver Spring, MD, has partnered with us to provide a welcoming ambiance in their elegant event space with lounge seating, a full bar and access to their full menu balancing comfort and sophistication.

RESERVED SEATING:

You may make an additional contribution to the campaign by purchasing reserved seating in advance where 100% of the proceeds will go to VOACC. This purchase affords you the comfort of seating for you and three guests in the very comfortable lounge space of Citizens & Culture.
