Sarah Billings, MSW, LSW, CSWM serves as the Director of Community Strategies at the National Network for Youth. A first-generation college graduate, Sarah earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in social work from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. With nearly two decades of dedicated experience, she has championed transformative initiatives within various systems serving youth and families, spanning county government, schools, and nonprofit sectors. Her initiation of innovative programs, such as landlord risk mitigation and mentoring for youth affected by gun violence, demonstrate her commitment to effecting positive change. Employing trauma-sensitive and human-centered design approaches, Sarah harnesses the science of human behavior to create impactful transformations where we live, learn, and work. She lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her partner and their rescue pup, Pippa. When she isn't working, she enjoys camping, traveling, and the arts. For this training, she'll be partnering with two OYAB members as her co-hosts, Efren Beronnes (OYAB Co-Chair) and Kyle-Ann Bobo (OYAB Communications Coordinator).
