Join us for the opening concert of CCI 2025 with PART Ensemble at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church. This program spans 500 years of music—from Frescobaldi and J. S. Bach to the world premiere of Carter Williams’ Transit Timing Variations, written especially for this event. Also featured: Ligeti’s Volumina, a modern organ classic, and an improvisation for dance and percussion by Peter Eisold. Expect an adventurous combination of glissando flute, viola d’amore, percussion, organ, electronics, and dance.
