Welcome to Part Two of the CDL training experience! This session is designed specifically for individuals pursuing their CDL Class A learner’s permit. Building on the foundations from Part One, this session dives deeper into the essential knowledge you need to successfully pass the Class A permit test and begin your journey toward operating combination vehicles.

These materials will be referenced during the event, and it may benefit you to have the link available to follow along.

During this training, you will learn:

· Air brakes fundamentals—how they work, why they matter, and what you must know to pass the air brakes exam

· Combination vehicle concepts—understanding coupling/uncoupling, trailer dynamics, turning considerations, and other key skills required to safely operate a Class A combination truck

· Targeted test-prep strategies—specific insights to help you confidently approach the Class A sections of the CDL learner’s permit exam

This session will give you the clarity, confidence, and practical knowledge you need to move forward in earning your CDL Class A learner’s permit.
