The Rev. Philip Corbett, scholar & vicar of St Silas, Kentish Town (London) will present two evenings of entertaining erudition.

Sunday Evening: ‘He saw the cloths lying there…’: The Shroud of Turin

Monday Evening: Holy Bones: Relic and Pilgrimage in the 21st Century

Fr Philip Corbett is the Parish Priest of St Silas and Holy Trinity, Kentish Town in London. He has served much of his ministry in London and before parochial ministry was the Priest Librarian and Chaplain of Pusey House, Oxford. He holds degrees in theology from the Universities of St Andrews, Yale, and Oxford. He trained for the priesthood at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield. His interests include history, liturgy, and the church in Japan. This latter interest stems from his own Confirmation which was at the hands of the Bishop of Yokohama in the Nippon Sei Ko Kai.
