The Material Culture Forum is pleased to host this day exploring the materiality of paper with paper and books conservator Sally Kilby and Professor Orietta Da Rold.

Participants should meet at the front desk of the University Library promptly at 14:00 to be brought into the conservation labs.

14:00 - 15:30 : Tour of the library conservation labs with Sally Kilby

15:30 - 17:00 : 'The Many Crafts of Medieval Papermaking', talk by Orietta Da Rold (English, Cambridge), Milstein Room

17:00 - 18:00 : Refreshments and discussion, Milstein Room
