Speaker Bio:
Leo Tsang is a Principal Transportation Planner at PANYNJ, where he has led the agency’s efforts to integrate autonomous vehicle technology into public transportation since 2020. His work focuses on piloting AVs in complex, real-world environments such as airports and mixed-traffic corridors, with the goal of improving service reliability, enhancing safety, and expanding first- and last-mile connectivity. With over 25 years of experience, Leo previously worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP), specializing in transportation planning and multi-resolution transportation modeling. He is also a strong advocate for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure and has contributed to planning studies in vibrant cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Singapore. Leo holds a Master Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Hong Kong.
