This panel discussion will explore 'unheard voices' in the architectural discourse, focusing on children and young people from regions affected by conflict such as Ukraine and Gaza. The event will include testimonies from young people affected by conflict, who will be joining the discussion online.
The event will provide a platform for these young voices to share their visions for the recovery and rebuilding of their homes and communities. It will also highlight insights from humanitarian organisations who are often the first to respond locally but remain underrepresented in planning processes of long term recovery.
By bringing together youth perspectives and humanitarian expertise, the panel will foster a dialogue on how to create sustainable, community-led recovery processes in the regions that need them most. This discussion is grounded in the urgent need for an integrated approach across multiple players in the process of rebuilding and recovery.
