Raindrop Women’s Association, UNICEF USA and United Against Human Trafficking partnered to organize this panel discussion which will focus on issues regarding modern-day slavery, such as direct victim services, community response efforts, policy and advocacy, law enforcement and the legal landscape. We hope that it will help our community to better understand the nature and scope of the problem in our region.
This event is also a networking event for professionals from every walk of life in the area. The program starts with an open buffet dinner. There will also a number of organizations at vendor booths to advertise their programs and services.
All proceeds will be donated to Embrace Relief Foundation SW for their Houston Flood Relief Campaign.
