Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

There is a parking lot on the north side of the market building. And across the street, the University of Minnesota Prospect Park parking ramp is open to the public for $1 hr/ after 3 p.m. It’s at 390 29th Avenue SE. You can enter and exit on 29th Avenue SE.

Can I get there on public transportation?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The market is just a block away from the Prospect Park light rail stop (green line) and on several bus lines. Find your route options on Metro Transit's trip planner: https://www.metrotransit.org/trip-planner.

Question 3

How will I find the event space?

Accepted Answer

We'll be gathering in the Machine Shop room, which is separate from the main food hall. If you park in the gravel lot on the building's north side, the room will be straight ahead when you enter the building. If you come in through the front door, you can bypass the host station, and turn left.

Question 4

Will there be food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We'll have snacks at the beginning of the event, and heavy appetizers for the reception. We'll give you a drink ticket when you arrive, and you can use it to get an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. If you're still hungry after the reception, there are lots of great options at the food hall.
