Details: Dive into our 4-week Mini Series, where each session unveils a new, exciting theme that builds cooking skills and confidence within a structured, supportive environment. Emphasizing wellness, nutrition, and mindful eating as core elements of our healthy eating initiative, our classes offer a 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio to not only enhance culinary techniques but also cultivate independence and practical life skills in the special needs community.
During each 90-minute class, participants are fully engaged in the cooking process, from prepping certain ingredients (using adaptive equipment and cooking utensils), to seasoning, cooking (searing or baking), and preparing side dishes.
At the end of each class, everyone will enjoy the meal they’ve prepared, and take home a recipe card so they can recreate it at home. We will provide all supplies, including aprons and gloves, for each session.
Can't attend all four classes? No problem, each session is available "à la carte", so you can choose the ones that work best for you!
Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
