Discover the vivid colors of pastels! This unique medium acts as both a drawing and painting tool, offering artists the ease of application, combined with painterly techniques. Students will learn the essential basics of working with pastels, while strengthening their observational skills. Demonstrations will show various methods for sketching, blending, composition and use of color. Students may bring in their own photographs. No drawing experience needed, all students can expect to finish one pastel painting. All materials including instructional handouts and picture references are provided.

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.
Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS.
If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.
