This is an intensive 1-day class for anyone who would like to learn the basic theories behind how to paint but doesn’t have the schedule to do a 10-part weekly class, or for those who have painted many years ago and could use a refresher or are self-taught and feel they could use structure or may be missing something. I teach the class in watercolor but the first 75% translates to all colored mediums (acrylic, oil, pastel and to a certain extent colored pencil). There are lectures alternating with practical exercises on color mixing, perspective, composition, light and shadows and more. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED.

There is no materials list, Jeni provides all materials except a sack lunch which you should bring, the lunch break is short. She will supply paint, brushes, paper, water, work panels, palettes.
This class provides the basic knowledge needed to pursue further watercolor training at the Artists Center with Diane Morgan in "Watercolor: Beginners and Beyond".
