About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Let’s elevate your standard paint & sip into a far more social occasion, where you STILL end up with a piece of art at the end of the night, but you also support several local small businesses. Ken Stanek (@studionumbernine) will guide you through drawing & painting a centerpiece crafted by the culinary geniuses from Maplewood Wheelhouse. This is a guided class, but you are more than welcome to bring your own interpretation to what we’re painting. Since we will be drawing from life, no two people will be painting exactly the same thing! The best part - you get to nibble on the small bites afterwards!

All supplies will be provided, and you've got the option to purchase a kit to keep.

Practicing stuff makes you better at it. This is alarmingly true! In our watercolor sessions, we'll go over some of my most common techniques and studio setup. At the end, you may not have a "completed" painting, but you'll definitely have something you can come back to afterwards to fill in the details. Art takes time! An hour and a half is a great start, and it can only get better after that.
