Paint & Pebbles: A Parent & Child Art Workshop
Overview
Join us for a heartwarming morning of creativity, mindfulness, and connection!
Paint & Pebbles is a free, family-friendly art experience designed for parents and their youngchildren (pre-school age and below) to create together in a welcoming community space.
Parents will enjoy a guided paint-and-sip style session on canvas, while children explore their imagination through colorful rock painting. Each activity is designed to encourage mindfulness,joy, and bonding between parent and child.
What to Expect:
- Parent Activity: Paint a beautiful “Dandelions & Sun” landscape that symbolizes growth,joy, and release.
- Child Activity: Create one-of-a-kind painted rocks inspired by nature, kindness, and imagination.
- Mindfulness Moment: We’ll begin with a short guided visualization to help everyone relax and express freely.
- Community Connection: Families can choose to take their artwork home or gift it for display in the library or community spaces.

About the Facilitators:
Alexis: Alexis Clark is a Full Spectrum Doula, Educator, and community art facilitator passionateabout mindfulness, creativity, and connection. Through her work with Mama Umi, she helps families find joy, peace, and empowerment in both birth and everyday life.
Rachel: Rachel Bryant is the Children's Specialist and Outreach Coordinator for Camden County Public Library. She enjoys creating art and facilitating connections within the community.
